Wednesday Week 2

Hello everyone!

English – (writing)

Now that we have finished reading The London Eye Mystery, it’s time for you to get creative! Your task is to write an alternative ending to the story. What happened to Salim? Where was he found? What clues helped Ted solve the mystery? What happens to Salim and Ted after?

Remember to write a draft version of your story ending, edit it (checking for punctuation, spelling, paragraphs) and then write out your good copy. Send me your writing – either through a Word document or a photo of your handwritten story.

IPC

Welcome to our new unit, The Holiday Show!

For our Entry Point, I would like you to tell me all about your favourite holiday. Where was it? When did you go? Who did you go with? Why was it enjoyable? What sorts of things were you able to do?

If possible (with permission from your parent/s) send me a photo of your favourite holiday with your description.

Friday Week 1

Happy FriYAY!!

I want to start off by saying a huge WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who has sent work in this week. I have loved reading your stories and IPC research, looking at your maths work and getting incredibly jealous about all the fairgrounds around the world I would love to visit! Keep up the hard work next week.

I know some of you don’t have a printer, which is absolutely fine. Keep taking photos of your work and sending them through, I love seeing what you’ve been up to. If you have done anything extra, make sure to send that through as well!

I know you may not have any toilet rolls spare yet for your art activity, so save that until you have the available resources! Might be a good activity to complete over the weekend.

Here are today’s activities:

Maths – dividing fractions

Mrs Santoro’s group:

Religion – the significance of the Passover Meal (from Mrs Santoro)

PE workout – 15 x squats, 15 x star jumps, high knees for 30 seconds, 15 x press ups (repeat 3 times) —-> and/or Joe Wicks

Don’t forget your everyday activities – spelling practise, times tables and reading. Perhaps you could ask your Mum or Dad to test you on your spelling words?

If you were at school before we broke up, I also gave you your Times Table Rock Stars booklet – you can complete this when you like.

Here are the answers to this week’s activities for you to mark your work:
