School Journey at Carroty Wood

On the first week of Autumn 2, the Year 6 crew made their way to Carroty Wood, an adventure camp near Tonbridge. What a week it was! All the adults who attended were so impressed with how our Year 6 students took on the challenges of the week. Physical challenges included scaling the high ropes course, plunging (with control!) down the abseiling wall, and mastering the maze in the pouring rain. It was wonderful to watch the children overcome their fears and exceed their own expectations. Along the way, the children demonstrated the fruits of the spirit, showing great kindness and encouragement towards each other. We are all so proud of each and every one of them!

Enjoy the photos from our amazing week!

CLC Trip – Robot Zoo

What a wonderful time we had at CLC, designing and programming robots! It was a great opportunity to show collaboration, creativity and to develop their computational thinking.  Along the way, the children used iPads to record their steps. Check out the videos they created about their day:

This can lead to health problems. What can you say about your heart?
